Chamber of Commerce Flyer

The goal of the Park Slope Chamber of Commerce is to help merchants in this Brooklyn area by promoting local business and uniting them to build a healthy community. The organization wass trying to set up a business improvement district (BID) for a key shopping strip, which will bring greatly needed services and improve the neighborhood.

To get approval for this BID from city government, the Chamber of Commerce had to show widespread support among landlords and retailers. Outreach — getting good, easy-to-understand information to property and business owners — is key for success.

Working with Chamber leaders, I designed an eye-catching, well-organized flyer that helps owner grasp the need for and advantages of a BID. Bright images — from my own photo archives and other sources — complement colorful fonts for an effective, well-received presentation.
