NYLCV Pesticides Postcard

Often, clients have the detailed wording for their project but not for its overall, attention-getting theme. Such was the case with the New York League League of Conservation Voters’¬†advocacy campaign for two pesticide safety bills before the New York City Council.

Thanks to my skills as both designer and editor, the campaign found its voice on this postcard; bugs, as everyone now knows, aren’t the only ones steering away from pesticides. I also found a website with free high-resolution images of insects, keeping costs as low as possible while turning the project around quickly in order to meet the voting date for the bills.
