The Park Slope Civic Council wanted to introduce the community to the city’s upcoming program for slow zones — where cars are limited to 20 mph. This postcard had to include as much information on the topic as possible — in two languages — and generate interest in a community meeting about the initiative.

The final design for the card proved to be a success: Many residents braved a slushy snowstorm on a cold January morning to learn more and discuss this important issue.
