Express Local

I have spent years photographing my native borough of Brooklyn. Recently, I’ve also taken some of those images in a new direction, painting them using various applications and my own skill to reveal new dimensions of Brooklyn’s beauty.

This resulted in my Express Local show, which ran for three months at Cafe BKLN in Park Slope. I chose a total of 21 works — some already existing, some created just for the show — and designed the postcard for the show. I’ve posted 12 of those images here.

Express Local was very successful: I’ve sold numerous pieces in a range of sizes, and have interest in creating a new show elsewhere in the neighborhood.
