Following the success of its “Future of Fourth Avenue” community meeting, the Park Slope Civic Council decided that its annual meeting in 2011 should focus on local business. With the increasing number of businesses opening (and sometimes closing) in storefronts and the rapid growth of freelancers in the neighborhood, a forum to help businesses connect and succeed was needed.

I crafted the poster, postcard, and program for the event. Thanks to the outreach effort, the Civic Council had a record number of attendees as this standing-room-only event.
